<div class="IPBDescription">Well...new</div> Ok, I usually play marines, but i think its fun to play both sides, I understand everything except like 2 things.
#1, Level 1, 2, 3 Traits? Someone said they had level 3 carapace with 2 hives, is that even possible? I thought the level was based on hives, respectively, 1 hive = level 1 trait.
#2 WEbbing! how do u web right? Ive seen web guides but that doesnt tell me how to web. My problem is that when i shoot a web it doesnt stick to anything, and i dont even see the damn thing. Do u have to be opposite of the target your shooting at? Or will it automatically to the opposite wall across from the place your shot it at? Or do u have to shoot once, and then shoot again at another area, and it will connect from the 2 places you shot from?
Help would be much appreciated

Trait levels are solely dependent on the number of chambers that support the trait.
For example, 3 defensive chambers or more will give level 3 for all the defense traits (Carapace, Regen, Redemption)
The ABILITY to build chambers is dependent on the hives. Each hive is permanently assigned a chamber, assigned by building a new chamber of a different type. After that, the hive is required for its assigned chamber to be built.
For example:
<Start of game>
1. Starting hive is not assigned anything
2. Gorg builds defensive chamber. Defensive chamber is assigned to starting hive (You can see what the hive is assigned to in the upper right corner of HUD). Now, gorgs can build defensive chambers, but not the others.
3. Hive 2 is up. A gorg builds a movement chamber, assigning movement chambers to the second hive. Gorgs can build both defensive and movement chambers.
4. Hive 3 is up. A gorg builds a sensory, assigning sensory chambers to the third hive. Gorgs can build all 3 chambers.
5. Hive 1 is destroyed. Since defensive chambers were assigned to it, they cannot be built anymore until the hive is rebuilt.
Because hives are permanently assigned a trait, there is much debate about the order of chambers, as seen on this board.
