Video Problems

<div class="IPBDescription">help me please</div> When i try to right click to open the menu the menu doesnt open all that happens is on top left it looks like a bunch of words written over each other. when im alien around the resource bar is all pink and same think happens in command console. I have software on when i switch to direct3d it fixes it but the sound is completely screwed up all scratchy and crap.     well im leaving have fun figuring that out (hint: just bind keys to morph into the different levels. That what I did and as for building well I cant build so im never a gorge. Marines all you mostly need that for is to boot out the commander. Thats all I use it for

    i have a 6 year old ATI card, it supports it.

    you can get something similar for less than 20 dollars

    Horrible FPS, but I can at least play

    for 20 bucks you can get a card twice as fast as mine, though.

    if you have an Nvidia gf2, it DOES support opengl. If you haven't yet, go and download the latest drivers for your card at nvidia.com and try it again.

    <i>Edit: I forgot to say that software mode isn't supported at all. I used to use a geforce2 mx with counterstrike in opengl mode and get good framerates. If your sound screws up in direct3d mode, maybe you dont have the newest directx drivers. Get 8.1 if you dont already have it at microsoft.com/directx</i>

    GF2 SUPPORTS OPENGL

    I had the SAME problem, I reinstalled Windows, i installed Detonator 40 and it works (100 fps in opengl)

    That means for me that you have a copied version of Half-Life and same cd-key as your pal has, and now HE's playing. There can't be 2 cd-keys online at the same time. Correct me if Im wrong on this one. OR have you given your copy of cd-key to someone perhaps? OR in extremely rare situations, WON is down. That is, NO ONE plays.     that wasnt it...i looked on a server and it sed i was stil in the server..even though i had quit 5 mins before...i just had to restart windows...that happens to me in cs 2 i just get booted out of game and it says im still in it

    and umm thank you shaggy ill try that and fire wats detonator 40?
