So, the guy who made this topic made a great prediction, and should be in the stock business.
So, any one got ideas of names for the engine, since the <a href="http://twitter.com/NS2" target="_blank">Twitter Update</a> shows that some digital company or whatever has Evolution Engine for them. Maybe the playtesters or the great Dev team itself can look at this for possible replacements. Please make sure to research the name to make sure another company doesn't already have the engine name.
(I Will continue to edit this list with all ideas)

-Universe Engine
-Planet Engine
-Moon Engine

So, we need ideas, so the Dev's can get ideas, So we can have a named engine.
it should have something to do whit NS2 and UWE, whitout pointing directly to it. also it should reflect the possibilitys and flaws of it, it should be short and clear, so that everyone know what it is, source. everyone know what is meand when someone says source. or unreal.
please stop. discussion at this point is moot. for all we know, they already named it.

the Darwin idea is ok, but how about <b>Darwingine</b> or <b>DarwEngine</b> or some variant of combining the two words?
I didn't see anyone post: <b>Constellation Engine</b>
That is keeping with the space theme, and gives a nod to those that have supported NS in it's growth.
I'm impressed with the Engine Demo video with the lighting and stuff. Perhaps the engine name should reflect something about what the engine is capable of or does particularly well.

I also liked the <b>EvolutioNS Engine</b> idea that was posted.
Coretech just sounds cool. Pronounce "Core Tech" of course.
