Cannot find valid steam during instalation?

    You need the original version of Half-Life, not the Orange Box or Half-Life 2. Do you have a copy of Half-Life 1 installed?

    Yes you need to buy HL.

    No, there will (most likely) be no NS:S.

    the current project is NS2, which is on an engine they have created and it will be a stand alone game for purchase.
