Now don't think this is just some more hippy crap,
stop and think before any purchases u make today:
do i really need this?
you'll be surprised how often the answer is no.

    Hehe, I'll support this as best I can. Since I work at Best Buy, if this worked out it would take a lot of work off my back. Our one store is supposed to make $700,000 this one day! And 10 million between now and Christmas.

    Thats the whole point though. The stand we are taking is that ads dont control our life and we are sick of them. I am not going to buy anything today. **obscenity** their ads and **obscenity** their mind control.

    Can I go one day without seeing one McDonalds ad?? Its not like I am going to think they went out of business or anything.

    Maybe you can buy nothing; it will just give you time to watch everyone else buy twice as much as they normally would since you didn't snap it up first. Have fun pretending you're helping though.
