That is *exactly* what I thought. It's like the part of the trailer where the music stops and the camera dramatically zooms in, revealing that he's really the villain or something.

Quite nice really, they met much of my expectations. Jumping high in air is easy if you do it with both legs, preferably with slight forward momentum as the pads on the feet are rounded. Running takes a lot of concentration and courage, if you screw up a big jump and can't soften the fall with the legs you can hurt yourself pretty bad. There are two ways you can run, either with small bounces or large leaps. With the former it's possible to run very fast, I'd say even as fast as a bicycle but it doesn't provide much height. Leaping, at least for me so far, almost looks like slow motion because of the smooth movements, not fully grasped this yet tho. It also fools observers of your speed, it's hard to determine for some reason. Each leg weighs 4kg so even just a small runs less then 100m is exhausting. It is a exercise machine of sorts after all. I have only fallen "seriously" 2-3 times and the last one I took the hard fall with my hands and almost ripped the entire wrist protector apart. You do not want to try this without such protection. The worst case scenario would be falling backwards, slamming the back of your head in pavement, even with a helmet I imagine it could give you a nasty concussion.
They only work on hard surfaces so plenty of smooth roads is a requirement. Don't use on roads made of lots of small cubic rocks. It's easy to slip on leaves and wet objects so it's not recommended to use em in rain either, have a buddy first times using and/or some kind of moveable support (I used planks). My biggest concern is traffic, since you are 44cm higher then normal it may very well happen that when you fall it might be towards the road from the sidewalk and get your head under some fellows wheels. Also teenagers looking for trouble (kick em, your legs are now metal reinforced).
Bought in separate weight classes, starting from 40kg to 130 IIRC (sorry fat people, totally not looking at x-stickman). Everything can be mounted apart and replaced, their site has spare parts so you can order a different weight class spring if you aren't happy. It's recommended to take a weight class above your own if you are going to use them intensely. I weigh 87kg so I took 90-100.

You haven't changed much.... (I was about to say you had posted that before, but if it was as of last summer, then you have not to my knowledge).
I still have no current pictures of my self (as I avoid cameras like the plague), and will not be reposting the old ones.
