Suggesting the purchase of NS2 via Monebookers.com
Hi! I'm Indrek, live near Finland, in Estonia, and don't have a credit card. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

I think it would be great, if NS2 could be purchased without a credit card, e.g through www.moneybookers.com (you basically just have to have a bank account).

Merchant info: http://www.moneybookers.com/app/help.pl?s=merchant.

Thanks!

You can buy NS2 with Paypal (no credit card required, only a bank account).

Your bank account must come with a debit card which is Visa/Mastercard or some equivalent?

I would like to pre-order a copy of NS2, but I don't (and probably never will) have a credit card. Would you accept payment in cash via post? I pay for things using standard post quite often to countries all around the globe without a problem, however I assume the risk for lost/missing mail.

If Unknown Worlds would accept payment via cash, please reply with details.

It comes, that's not the problem. PayPal is aimed more to US not EU.

I really don't think I'm the only one who wants to acquire NS2 pre. but doesn't have a credit card and can't use PayPal..

i am from EU and using Paypal, all fine, just use it, everybody can use it, if you can't ask one of your good friends or one of your family.

What you can do instead is buy a Visa/Mastercard/AMEX gift card, there's usually a $3(USD for me, unsure where you're from) surcharge to activate it but it is a nice alternative.

That's a good option. So is asking a trusted acquaintance with a card, as mentioned above. Convenience goes way down, but I'd wager someone with out a credit card is accustomed to that.

Debit cards work with paypal too. I can guarantee you there is a bank in Finland who will allow you to operate a VISA service'd account which will work on Paypal.

If you struggle to find one, ping me a message and I'll be glad to help.

offtopic, but FFS its called DEBIT card not credit card. Credit card IS for, if you borrow money from bank (credit).

I'm not sure I get what you're saying. Sorry if this is explaining something you all ready know. There are two types of cards you can use, credit cards and debit cards. Credit cards are backed by a credit card company and have some limit based on your credit score. You generally get charged interest if you carry a balance for more than 30 days from last billing cycle. Debit cards are issued from your bank and tied directly to a checking account you hold with the bank. It will have the logo of a credit card company on it(Visa, MasterCard, etc) but it works like a check book and not a credit card.

I got Visa Electron from a Finnish bank account, namely Nordea which works on Paypal.

If you don't want to do such, just pm me, I can purchase the game for you if you trust me to buy it for you. You can pay to me using IBAN-transfer which should not have any fees, I think its an EU directive, though Im not sure if it applies to your country since you don't have euro. I have been handling community money before, like the one in Movie Contest, in ENSL and NSFI.
