One of the comments says "They are Tubifex worms. In the occasion of a drought or period with low resources they form a cyst and tend to look like a contracting muscle. Its rather gross they contain all kinds of pathogens because they feed off organic sewage." I don't know if it's true or not, but it certainly reminds me of NS.

Wouldn't it be a job for the Ordos Xenos (or the Ordos Malleus if it's some crazy chaos spawn)? Or the Adepta Sororitas' Sisters of Battle, what with their love of burning stuff.

Why would it be a job for a chaplain? They're responsible for the spiritual health of their marine chapter, not for taking out weird alien growths.

Are you really going to take John Romero's word for it? Last I checked he had a tendency to distort the truth

Daikatana was the last time you checked? You need more regular checks or your data lose credibility.

I think the more important issue here is that Them actually make the connection without anyone pointing it out. If we ever need to play the John Romero whack-a-mole game, I think we found our man.

That would require coming back and reading your post as well to read the thread.
