The primary reason why spawn camping happens is due to the fact that the spawn points on the map are consistent and are always on the ground close to the hive or in marine view.. Lets say we created alternate, random spawn points.. such as in a vent next the hive, or on the ceiling somewhere in the hive area?
This would disorientate marines in where they would have to focus their view of fire, since they would have to search around each time an alien has spawned in a scenario of a spawn camp situation.

Perhaps the commander can be able to drop some hardcore turrets/defenses in the vicinity of infantry portals.
And to make this work, we need to take out the need to destroy marine base as the only way for aliens to win. In short if they cap like 75% of all the resource towers and marines have a specific minimum of res or lack of upgrades/equipment that the game should just end. (at least a way for the loosing team to vote to end-game at that point).
i have read that there will be weldable bulk heads at the base for a last defense. this would be considered a last, last defense. =D
