Circular hallways

<div class="IPBDescription">in spark editor</div>So I was playing with the editor a bit, and I decided I wanted to have a large circular hallway. I ran into some problems while trying to do so, though.

First thing I tried:
Make circle
Make inner circle
extrude outer circle down
delete inner circle.

This gave me no ceiling. I think it wanted to make the circle a pit or something.

Second thing I tried:
Make circle
extrude down
make inner circle
extrude up
delete inner circle.

This worked for the most part... And then I looked at it from below. The circle was still there (I assume from the outer circle) and deleting it got me to the same place as before, no ceiling.

Any help would be appreciated, I don't want to have to click all 256 edges and make a face across them if I don't have to.

Delete the inner circle before you extrude. It thinks that since you are extruding part of an existing face you are making something along the lines of a recessed ledge or trough in the floor of a room.

If it's anything like I've done in some modeling programs.
What about just deleting the end face of the circle?

Thanks BreadMan, I have to admit, I didn't think of that. I guess I thought deleting the circle would delete the points too. One more question, though. When making my circles, how do I make the centers line up? Doing this freehand is just asking for them to be unaligned, but my grid never seems to be the same points, leaving me with picking a point half a square away from the center or nothing. Something else simple I'm missing?

Yeah the grid functionality is still being worked on and the circle tool doesn't snap yet, but one thing you can do is select your first circle and go to the scale tool, which draws crosshairs over the center of your selection, then position your mouse and hit "C" to switch to the circle tool and draw it immediately.

You can also try grabbing the circle with the move tool and making sure it's centered on a grid intersection then drawing a line across it and using the snap points of the line to find the center, then deleting the line segments afterward. I just tried this though and whenever I delete the last segment it deletes the outer circle. >.<
