Ok, every time I try to run the editor, I get this annoying debug error about some minidump.dmp file...

I have no idea what to do...

Any suggestions?

Reinstalling doesn't help.

I would recommend posting your PC specs. You might not have a powerful enough system to run the editor, or it could be something else.

Welcome to the joys of pre-alpha testing.

    You mean this?

Edit: I noticed that my DirectX version is 9.0b. Isn't 9.0c the newest one?

Edit: BTW this computer has a Geforce FX 5600 installed in it

Honestly your specs are little outdated but I'm sure it's enough to at least start the editor. I had a similar system quite a few years a go but it was enough to run FEAR, CoD2, B&W2, Splinter Cell:CT etc.

I'm thinking it could be that you have XP service pack 1 perhaps?
Also yeah your Direct X is outdated, try this <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=2DA43D38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en" target="_blank">http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en</a>

Do you have the latest driver for your 5600?

Yeah I updated to service pack 2 and reinstalled my drivers.

I can open up the editor now, but the screen is all weird.

I posted a couple pictures in the Editor Bugs thread.

That dialog means that the program crashed. If you click submit, it will email me the minidump file which I can use to see what caused the crash (hopefully).
