Voice Com Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">quality degrades over time</div> When i first join a server voice com sounds clear, but within 10 minutes it goes to really fuzzy then I get absolutely no voice at all (that is my talking not others, I can hear others fine)

I've updated my drivers and run voice_loopback (thats how I figured out its a constant decay rate

    Yeah my Voice Com also has a problem too...
    on some servers...people can hear me just fine (or a big unclear)
    but on some other servers...people cant hear me at ALL (other people are able to talk on that server)
    my friend also has the same problem

    It has some nifty things you can try. I'm having issues myself, just got a new sound card (Phillips seismic edge PSC705) to replace my onboard sound and it's great. BF1942 sounds like a dream (no more chipmunks!) and everything BUT my voice comm works great. If I find anything out I'll let you know, I'm tinkering with mine at the moment.

    Still can't get it to work. It definately is a constant decay rate. At first it's fine. Then the time elapsed between what I say and what is heard keeps increasing. I've tried countless .cfg tweaks and disabling hardware acceleration and anything else you can think of. Maybe my soundcard soesn't support half life for some strange reason *shrugs*. Again this happens in every mod, not just NS. Advice would be appreciated.

    I recently discovered that my beautiful Philips Acoustic Edge has full-duplex problems. Voice chat while playing a game? Dream on.
