I bought NS2 because I could get a jump on mapping. Now I have all the major NS1 maps done and will be ready to share them when the alpha has been released.
Merry Christmas, ME! I'd buy it again if I had any monies left! It was the release of the Spark tools that persuaded me to do it, I were gonna buy it eventually but not I get to have fun playing around with NS2 maps!

That's exactly my thoughts! I'm getting it for christmas, hopefully anyways, but it and SC2 are the two big games i'm looking forward to in 2010. Although a *hint* to the devs, they should include secret rick-rolling files hidden in the editor just to be funny.
I wish i can buy NS2 :( This game rocks I would so buy the SE version but apparently not maybe some people can idk if u buy extra copies of NS2 maybe u can send it to me? idk i highly doubt that lol but hope you guys enjoy NS2 and I won't :(

It's 20$ dude.. don't you have that? I mean.. you can mow your neighbor's lawn for it or something if you are young and really have no money.
I just got the Special Edition because I loved NS1 and knew as soon as I heard about NS2 I would be playing it, and I love the idea of mucking around with the tools and seeing what I can create!
I bought the SE twice (one for my brother and one for myself), because it's actually the only game I'm looking forward to play for real since 5 years ...
I was excited about Borderlands before I got to "play" it, but it's just utter ###### ... (opening flame discussion against Gearbox now ! :) )
The only thing I'm afraid of is that I might loose my Email account and my CD-Keys and so on .
I've preordered the NS2 & Overgrowth pack because Overgrowth will have a Linux client for 100% (so it's already covers 80%) and NS2 has a good chance of also having a Linux client. And if we the Linux gamers support NS2 development, the developers in return will support us (I really hope so).
Comments
a) played NS since I was like....16 or something, and now I'm almost 21.
b) ns1 was probably the only game I played for months straight without getting bored
c) screens of NS2 look pant-wettingly good.
d) I never could donate to Constellation so this is my way of helping out.
e) WANT GAME.
my e-ego is now at lvl5
BTW, Spark Editor rocks, a thousand times better than Hammer and its stupid leaks.
LOL now thats amusing
Really though, just because ;).

This game (almost) never gets old.

:D
If so tell your parents that you want to buy a game and ask if they can keep a small portion each week.
Do that for 2 months and then buy it... I don't think we'll see a playable Alpha game other than the Spark Editor anytime soon myself.
a) I am a Level Designer and worked on a couple of mods so mapping for this is cool.
b) I will support developers that show effort, passion for their project and support for their community be it for just the gamers or the modders.
c) I played NS so anything to support a second.
d) The Editor, i most likely wouldn't have got the game right now if it wasn't for the Editor :)
e) The Editor
f) The Editor

So. Banned.
Looking forward for NS2 ! It's been long wait!
