The "No Lighting" bug in Spark Editor

Hello, I've been reading through as many forums posts as I could which mentioned that in some peoples cases, everything is pitch black. Like most of the others I have a card around the same range as others (Radeon X800 XT card). I noticed somebody mentioned that this was due to card support of DirectX9.0b only however I ran DxDiag and found I have DirectX9.0c so this can't possibly be the problem can it? That and I also noticed sadly that the same person mentioned that the Devs are not going to be addressing this issue even though I noticed a forum administrator mention they would. I'm just curious to know if it will in fact be addressed for the older cards. I have a good computer to play games on but on breaks from school I tend to use my older computers so I don't have to bother lugging the thing back :P I apologize if I missed an answered post on this before. Thanks.

Can't wait for Alpha xD

We're looking into this problem. If you could email the log file generated by the Editor (you'll find it in %appdata%\Natural Selection 2\log.txt) and the dxdiag file it would be helpful.

Okay, yeah I'll definitely do that, thanks for the quick response, greatly appreciated.

to clear up something, the card only support Pixel Shader and Vertex Shader 2.0b, a feature in NS2 needs PS 3.0 to run.
