<div class="IPBDescription">A tale of loyalty.</div>The gorge and the lerk were together since they were nymphs. They helped do each others jobs early in the infestation, once the gorge even took down a marine! Once they were out prancing through the ship getting harvesters up. A marine peeks around the corner with an LMG, and the gorge hisses, the lerk goes after them with the gorge trailing behind. The lerk is just about to finish off his kill when the marine gets shots off into his wings. The lerk screeches and falls back against the wall. The gorge bile bombs the marine, screaming as his face is melted by the acid, and goes up to his friend. The lerk is barely alive, and needs help. The gorge gently takes the lerk with his mouth and drags him back to the hive. The lerk isn't moving. The gorge tries to heal him again and again with his spray, to no effect. The lerk lies down with his friend and shuts his eyes. The hivemind is begging for help in the back of his head, but he lays there and waits for the end. Life leaves his body after too long without the hive, and his stomach loses it's orange coloring. The marines cleaning up stuff shove him and his friend into a container, and shove it out the airlock.

It makes me wonder if the devs are going to make a backstory/manual type guide like what they did for NS verision 1. <a href="http://www.brywright.co.uk/ns/manual-104/" target="_blank">Link if you guys don't understand what I'm describing</a>.
I want to try writing about some of the biology/genetics about the kharaa and how they evolved.
On a side note: I wonder if bile bomb will stick around in NS2, and whether it will actually do damages to marines or not.
That defeats the point.
