Lost account control

So my gmail account got compromised somehow, and from the looks of it I am not able to get it back under control because of Google's crappy account recovery service.

So ive had to go around change all my passwords and emails of all my online accounts and everything linked to my gmail. That includes my Natural Selection account, heres the thing.

I bought NS2 pre-order and had my key emailed to this account which I stored. So now I have an account which I cant get access to and the possibility of my NS2 key being taken by some random guy.

Any idea on what I can do to get this solved..?

I bet you could have them deactivate your CDKEY and then they can just give you a new one. That is their only solution....

    Hey,

Send an email to store@unknownworlds.com with all your information. Send anything you can (proof of purchase, such as a paypal transaction ID, your CD key, etc) and they can help you out.

I would also try and get in contact with google and try to get your account back. I had the same thing happen to me a while back and it took about a week untill I got control of my e-mail again.

They look into the IP history and they will be able to tell that the new person using the accounts IP and your current IP witch should match the old history and boom your back in :D

    Worth a try at least.

That doesn't work with dynamic IPs, which most ISPs use for standard accounts.

It works in the measure that whoever stole your account probably isn't your neighbor.

My Natural Selection 2 account is now all fixed, thanks.

As for Google, there being useless. I more than likely am not going to get my account back because there account recovery system is full of crap. Even though I have provided them with security questions they do not ask you them. They ask general questions about the account like, who have you emailed the most, your labels, WHEN WAS YOUR ACCOUNT CREATED?

Really? I do not use my account to email people, I do it to register to games, forums and other stuff, not send emails. I don't even use labels, and who in there right mind remembers the exact date there email account was opened over five years ago?

I do not know about the IP thing, but its obvious the system they use is useless, I keep getting back failed verification and the form with all these useless answers even though it says its checking logged IP's its not doing anything to help me at all.
