Steam access problem

Hi,

I preordered the special edition, but when Steam finished updating todays latest set of files it gives me this message:

"Alpha only available to those that preordered the special edition, meanwhile you can use the tools."

Is this a problem with UW code-keys or Steam?

Please help, servers are supposed to be up and I can't get in!

There are 2 different keys.

One of them was for the Spark map creation tools and so on.

There is also a 2nd key that you need to unlock the black marine armor and play the alpha. You should have been sent an email regarding that.

You're supposed to be able to go to:

<a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/retrieve" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/retrieve</a>

and have it automatically send you the key.

But. It hasn't worked for me or many others.

I was able to get my keys doing this, but I am not able to connect to a server it seems. :(

Yup link worked but it seems I can't connect to any servers.

hey yeah thanks for letting us know we need to register our 2nd key.

Yeah, the normal game key sent in the email did nothing. When I used the "Black Armor" key, the game activated, but I couldn't connect to servers.

I got and activated the 2nd key with that retrieve link.

Thanks for the help.

I'm off to skulk me some marines!
