Well, currently servers don't let you know when the servers are full but will still try to connect anyways. Hosted a server on my comp for a few guys, worked fine with Password. Tried to open it up for 5v5, and once it got full server window went basically crazy with people trying to connect, even though its full.
Not only this, it seems the game keeps trying to connect you to the server non-stop. Saw the same IP basically hammer the server non-stop for a good 30+ seconds which caused immense lag in the game. Basically DDoS'ing the server so to speak from people connecting, or rather trying to connect to a full server but never getting the "Server Full" message.
Not sure if thats the big problem, but its just something I've noticed. Probably a big reason why you can't connect to servers right now. Just a FYI.
Make sure to name the server with the aspects of it, like Local 5v5. And if it is a lan server, LAN, DO NOT JOIN. Something like that. It's a quick fix until is fixed.

I'm going to have to agree with you. Even though this is an alpha, this is a pretty BASIC thing to have accounted for in day 1 of client/server design.
So since we all have this problem of not being able to 'attempt connection' do you guys think it would help if we just did nothing and just wait it out for a bit?
