NS2 Console wont open

Well it is as it is, my console won't open, i've tried several different methods, but it won't open.

I have a Danish keyboard, i've tried switching to english configuration, which didn't work either, i've tried to find a way to open the console on startup, but i havn't been able to find the command for it. Also i've tried to find a way to change the console key, but havn't been able to find it anywhere.

Is there any fix for this? It's really annoying being able to get in to a game, but then i can't join the game because i can't open up the console :/

    If your tilde key isn't recognized, for now you can try changing the bind manually. In your %APPDATA%/Natural Selection 2/options.xml file, you should find a ToggleConsole key binding.

    Thanks Numerik, now i can join games and even join a team, however i still have the console open forever, i simply cannot get it closed, i have it bound to my M key which isn't used for anything else, is there a possible way to get around this issue?

    I would suggest binding it to a key that's not processed in the console window itself, such as F10.
