<div class="IPBDescription">????</div>So I loaded up NS2 after years of anticipation (yahoo!) and hung out in the ready room for a bit. Jumping around in the ready room was tons of fun (just like old NS!) and I joined the marine team for my first look at NS2. I understand it's an alpha and everything so it's okay that I didn't have high fps but I was unable to strafe along the wall to move faster. Why hasn't this been implemented yet?

obvious troll is, actually quite good at trolling.
Remove b-hopping and replace with the ability to walk backwards faster.. I hate b-hoppers and will result in an instant ban on my dedicated server.

Yeah. Let's homogenize movement so everyone can enjoy. Wiggle walking, strafe jumps, air control, bhoping, wall walking and so on, let's just replace this all with "run". Awesome idea, what other mechanics can you reduce to an art that requires 30 seconds to learn?

ermm he only said b-hopping. it's really not too much to ask that the engine only makes it possible for the human marines to act humanish in their movement, and not be able to tiptoe-hopscotch to their destinations.
ja, i always wondered what kind of mindset someone must have, to enjoy moving around in a computer-game, looking like he had some giant invisible pogo-stick shoved up his rectum ;-)
