I think it was confirmed, yes. Also confirmed was the connectivity fix! If you're having the "Attempting connection" problem, just switch to a different server, in case you weren't aware. Eventually, you'll find one that isn't full.

After about 10 servers that said Dedicated in their name, well... you already know its futile. As do I.
But its okay, I'm not complaining. I actually didn't expect the game to even actually start up at all, due to it being the Alpha release without any patches.
Windows Vista + Radeon 3100 + Laptop = Expecting failure; from my end as well.

But its the first of many, many ... many patches to come.
The game will get better, but it will take time. Try not to 'live from patch to patch' as it were. It will make the time go by a lot slower for you. Let Max and Flayra do what they got to do and they will release patches when they're ready to be released.
There is no problem in being excited, I am as well. Just trying to remind people that they will need patience as well and that awesome things take time to become awesome.

I never even went to the site before UW started using it, even then I mostly rely on the twitter feed on the right of the front page. I guess I am a generation too old to really 'get it'. I just don't find it all that useful and honestly don't care what someone ate for dinner or saw at a movie or took a giant crap that came out the shape of texas or something.
Oh ya, <a href="http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=get+off+my+lawn" target="_blank">Get off my lawn</a> and all that too.

however I want them to take their time with it, I don't want them to rush the patch.
I just don't want them to rush to appease people that don't understand what an Alpha is. 8D

I barely get good FPS in like CS:S, so yeah.

;D!
Hmm... just noticed that the patch is loading. Based on speed and time left, must be about 350 to 400 MB.
