  Step 1, post in correct forums.
  
  Step 2, check your e-mail for a second e-mail about activating the Alpha. It should have a different key than your pre-order one. You need to activate this key as well. If you haven't gotten that e-mail yet, use <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/retrieve" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/retrieve</a> to get both keys.

  Sorry, I didn't see a tech help section under NS2.
  When I use the retrieve key page all I get back is the key to NS2, no Black Armor key or anything else. What should I do?

  Send an e-mail to the store e-mail account (store@unknownworlds.com). Comprox has said they're working on fixing a few accounts on this issue.

  i got the same issue, and there is no sign of help if u send an email to unknown worlds.

  Sorry for the form e-mail, but we're inundated with requests and most
  of you are having the same problems. So here are all the answers
  grouped together:
  
  Question: "Natural Selection 2 is currently only available to people
  who pre-ordered the Special Edition" error.
  
  Answer: This is a bit confusing: first you need to make sure you've
  entered you NS2 Special Edition Steam key you got when you purchased
  NS2. Then you need to enter a second Steam authorization code to tell
  Steam to recognize your 'leet Special Edition armor and status. You
  should have been e-mailed both of these codes by now. If not, you can
  have them sent to you again by going here
  (http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/retrieve). To activate these keys,
  select "Games/Activate a Product on Steam..." from the main menu in
  Steam and paste in the key from your e-mail. You should now be good to
  go!
  
  Question: I tried to order the Special Edition but missed out for some
  reason (time zones, didn't hear about it, credit card error, etc). Is
  there any way I can get into the alpha or get the black armor?
  
  Answer: Sorry about that! We've been selling the Special Edition for
  well over a year and have been promoting it heavily. Two weeks ago we
  announced the end of the Special Edition and blasted out to our forum
  members, on Twitter, the news sites, etc. We tried to let everyone
  know but alas, not everyone found out. We did not end it early (we
  ended it 15 minutes late actually!). You will not be able to get into
  the first tier of the alpha and we're not planning on offering the
  Special Edition again. It's possible we'll change this in the future,
  but that's the plan for now.
  
  Question: I haven't received my pre-order key. What gives?
  
  Answer: Go here to have your keys resent:

  Answer: If you have access to your old e-mail address, you can change
  your e-mail address instantly here

  access to your e-mail address, we'll fix it for you and get back to
  you as soon as we can (could be a few days).

  The first key, wich i got to aktvate the special edition worked without problems, but the second key for the black edition does not work. Steam says that its already in use! And i only got one steam account!
  I have spent 40 Dollars to be able to play the alpha, and now nobody is aviable of the team of unknown worlds to get that issue fixed!
  As I see, i have spend +20 Dollars more for nothing. great.

  They will get to you in due time, they are probably swamped with fixing the alpha and these issues.
  
  That extra +20 Dollars also go into the game for development, the sheer amount of SE versions has already saved a few things in the game which were about to be scrapped. So it does indeed matter. And the black armor + eternal gratitude is perhaps something you'd like.
  
  I know this doesn't help you currently and I hope you get help on this issue asap, but for now you'd just have to wait in line I guess. I think your best bet is to contact them once more and explain this stuff in your post in that email, it might be faster then the forum (this is the wrong forum anyways, but then again there isn't really a NS2 help forum atm. They should make one!)
