    You also can't hand them $40, the regular edition is $35 I think. Special fancy bells and whistles edition isn't available.

    Although I think the beta is supposed to be open, although I can't remember ever reading it anywhere it seems to be the general consensus.

    But that could just as easily mean 'made up entirely'. Basically I wouldn't worry about it, you could easily get to play the beta version and if not you can still play the final version which will be more fun than the alpha and beta.

    if you preorder now you will be able to play the beta, but not the alpha.
    The beta will only be for people that preordered the normal or the special edition.

    Well let me know cause I'm insterested UWE, I'd love to be apart of the alpha, or ate last beta. Didnt know IF I would have my machine up and running by then but I just got it running. IF you need another tested i8'd shell out my 35$, I have positive and good Feedback as well, not just "GAME DONT WORK GOOD BLAH BLAH FFUUUUU"

    The game is pre-order at $35 and you currently get beta access, that's the only deal right now.

    The alpha access deal has expired, as much as you ask it's not going to happen, sorry. I suggest if you want to play the NS2 beta you order up right away, before that deal expires.

    the alpha isn't playable realy, so be happy you can test the beta if you pre-order now.
    Trust me, the alpha is horrible for playing, even testing.
