Not that I wish to imply you have been sleeping on the job; no-one is more deserving of a rest and all the effort in the world would have gone to waste until.... well... let's just say your hour has come again. The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. So, wake up, Mr. Freeman....

Don't forget that even once they have the final patch ready internally, they still have to get it up on Steam and it has to get pushed through Valve's systems. I wouldn't hold my breath for any release time, but I'm happy to know it's what they're immediately working on right now :D
This is exactly why I said any communication about the patch being anywhere near ready should come 1 complete day after it's already been released. They're just building up my disappointment.

I think its more a case of Valve running some basic (probably automated) checks to make sure it installs into steam correctly, doesn't break anything and doesn't contain and virus's or malware. Plus then there is the delay in getting it pushed out to all the content servers around the world before it finally goes public.

Current San Francisco time: <a href="http://www.happyzebra.com/timezones-worldclock/currentlocal.php?city=San%20Francisco" target="_blank">http://www.happyzebra.com/timezones-worldc...San%20Francisco</a> (11:30am at time of posting.)
Mr. Cleveland in the flesh, or rather in the Exosuit. I took the liberty of reliving you of your third Command Station, most of it was because of grenade spamming. As for the 16,000 Alpha players, I think you earned it. The Lag Fix is in our control, for the time being. Thanks to you. Quite a nasty piece of work you made over there. I am impressed. That's why I'm here, Mr. Cleveland, I have recomended you to our Commanders and they have authorized me to offer you a squad in which you will lead. We both agreed that you have limitless potential.

You have chosen, or been chosen, to relocate to one of our finest remaining urban centers.
I thought so much of City 17 that I elected to establish my Administration here in the Citadel so thoughtfully provided by our benefactors.
I have been proud to call City 17 my home. And so, whether you are here to stay, or passing through on your way to parts unknown, welcome to City 17.
It's safer here.
xD
It is in the Black Mesa voice-com guy's repertoire, I kid you not!
