Help for getting ns2

Hi all
I preordered ns2 long time ago, and is trying to get the game installed. Ive done this: To activate the game, select"Games/Activate a Product on Steam..." from the main menu in Steam and enter in the key.
But steam says that i have to registre the original game first... Does any1 know what im supposed to do?

You will get 2 CD Keys, One is "NS2 pre-order Special Edition", This is your Game CD Key. Activate this first

The other is: "NS2 Black Armor", this is the DLC and allows you to play Alpha, Add this code after
First you need to activate the ns2 alpha key and THEN the blackarmor key. I suppose you did it the other way around.
If you lost one key, there is a page on the website where you can ask for your keys (don't remember the adress, but i'm sure you can find it).
