window mode is slower then fullscreen mode, I can run window mode in 1280x720@aweful and I can run fullscreen in 1680x1050 in medium and get the same FPS.
Fps ranges from 20-30 depending on how many building are onscreen. All in all a very nice patch for me at least, it does still feel sluggish and laggy, but it no longer stutters with FPS

Switching texture modes ingame is still an issue though, between aweful and medium there is no problem. But as soon as I try to switch to high, the game either crashes instantly or will reload as usual but with a blurred out interface. In this case, as soon as I try to move the game will crash. I've had this problem with all build so far, high will kill my game.
Hd4850 512Mb might be the cause, I'm not sure. Memory on NS2.exe does go over 500Mb when trying to switch to high so...

Try using Fraps, it might let you capture a screenshot.
Apparently the issue your experiencing is a result of being out of Video Memory. Try running the game on Medium quailty and let me know if the issue remains, i think there may be a bizarr issue with 1GB Cards that are fine on Meduim. I will pass this on for you.

I think what was going on was a bad registry setting from a previous driver. I tried updating drivers first before and it did nothing to fix the problem, but after resetting the defaults in the CC it fixed it right up.

Limit was set in server.xml and as limit in the start up arguments. Console said "Changing setting 'playerLimit' to: '8'..."

Max & Charlie do but it gets plastered with reports, some stuff might get missed i don't know, I don't like the thing my self :) .
Also, the log you posted above is that an <u>In game log</u> or a <u>server log?</u> & <u>Local Host</u> or <u>Playing on a server</u>?

You can disable crossfire with a 3870x2 or 4870x2 by disabling the Catalyst A.I.
if you cant just turn crossfire off

Have you played around with disabling SLI?
Just tried. Same deal though... is there a way to copy text from Console? allot of stuff in it. Perhaps it could help.
