ns_tram runs slower than other maps?

Was just playing a 15min game on ns_rockdown at around 40-50fps with about 8 players and it was running smooth (just a few lag jitters here and there). The most playable game I've had so far. The game crashed at about 20 minutes in.

ns_tram I get lower fps (20-25fps) most of the time. Server ops might want to try these other smaller maps more often.

yeah tram sucks right now. maybe there are holes in the geometry so things in the distance aren't being occluded properly. idk.

I can confirm this. rockdown does appear to perform much better. I don't know why mappers don't make high fps maps until performance is locked down. Y'know so we can acually play.

Because they don't have unlimited resources and NEED to make maps they can release when the game goes retail. Also, everyone would complain about how terrible the game looks if they just blocked out a map and added some obstacles.

Yes, it is slow because it has much more details then others.
You can compare size of maps also
