Does anyone else besides me ever wonder why the crap anyone gets the notion to post such a diatribe as if it's fact? I mean, I can't say how well UWE will do on this project but it looks fun and I want to see it succeed. No need to come up riding your high horse and act like you <i>know</i> how things are going to play out. To top it off, what's it accomplish? It's not like people are going to all of a sudden think "oh you're right, it's gonna be too small" and stop waiting for it. Nor can I see UWE reading this and thinking "Oh, well we might as well not even finish! thanks for saving us money!" Not going to happen.

NS1 was the best video game I ever played in my life and UWE is taking just the right path to make a successful sequel.
Looking at it right now, from a small crew and all, they came from no where to something and when this game will reach the very polished and finished state, it is going to be just Perfect and much better than those ###### garbage fast-food CoD and WoW and Diablo 3 (AKA Diablo2: refurbished)
Wake up dude, go play ###### L4D and kill zombies over and over with a stopsign or gather freaking hats in TF2.

Well you might be interested to know that the last Medal of Honor game's MP peaked out at 603 players on steam today. And that's an AAA game... Or you can just take a look at this: <a href="http://store.steampowered.com/stats/" target="_blank">http://store.steampowered.com/stats/</a>
And see that 2000-3000 players isn't something "bad" at all, why would i care at all anyway? As long as there are enough people around to fill a server a couldn't care less if 200 people play the game or 30 million people. Btw: You obviously haven't been around in the "early NS days" when you claim that it had a "small population"...

Diablo has allways been more about gameplay then graphics and diablo3 so far looks even more dark then 2 did (especially because of the physics and there is alot more gibbing enemies). And the gameplay is great so far, it instantly feels like an diablo game but with so much new stuff to explore and experiment with. At least that's my opinion of the game after playing it on 2 different conventions.
