Thought it was fixed?

So what I previously thought was the server ###### out, is actually my client ###### out.. it would seem.. I know there's a lot of you computer nerds out here so please try n shed some light on this error. I get it every time I'm in a game, usually around the 10minute mark of playing. Juss starts saying connection problem detected, and I time out.

Error: Lua/LiveScriptActor.lua:435: Attempt to perform arithmetic on feild 'flinchIntensity' (a nil value)
Lua call stack:

Anyone else getting this issue? Post any questions you got also.
Thanks,
Wes.

I've got a question, what have you tried to do to resolve this problem other than just wait for an update?
There's a lovely thread <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=111496" target="_blank">here</a> that offers suggestions for people that are having their client ##'ing out.

I'm sure computer nerds can help but you might need to shed a bit of light first, small stuff like pc hardware/ you'r os/ and the servers joined you saw this problem on could help out with troubleshooting this problem.

He shouldn't have to fix the game himself.

You know, if it wasn't still in the BETA phase of developement, I'd be inclined to agree with you.

I get loads of Lua errors. I get spammed with them as commander when a Mac I had selected gets destroyed. I get them when when I'm seemingly doing nothing to cause them, but they don't cause any issues, Lua controls some front-end stuff, but it runs on-top of the game so it usually doesn't interfere with the actual game itself. I wouldn't worry about Lua errors.

It would be helpful if you posted specs and a description of EXACTLY and I mean really precisely what happens.

I guess read the links below if you don't feel comfortable providing details of your comptuer specs/ server you joined or a bit more detail about the problem. Those users seem to have the same error as you.

I get this error in console also, but it does not crash. I wouldn't be so sure to whether this is the cause of the crash and perhaps maybe a coincidence.

Usually it (from what I can tell) occurs when your model spawns inside a model or the world and you get stuck. Maybe this effects the playing of animations.

I have had problems with servers timing out (still) and crashing, the problem is that people have taken the current fix as 'we can now play on an uncapped server' where as there are still bugs that are effecting performance.
