Hello NS2 community, just purchased natural selection 2 today, downloading it as I type lol, always been a really a big fan of natural selection, remember playing it since I was 12, like 10 years ago haha. anyways just saw today for Natural Selection 2 that the special black edition marine armor is no longer available. I was just wondering if anyone happens to have a extra spare key for a black marine armor by any chance. I can offer money, or maybe you might want something else. Since Natural Selection 2 is on steam now, just wondering if it is even possible to activate a special edition pre-order bonus currently, or would you have had to purchased natural selection 2 SE before. thanks. let me know, or pm me thanks.

    Hey mate and welcome - I don't think there will be many if any people that haven't used their SE key. Doesn't hurt to ask but I think someone has asked before and didn't have any luck :(

    Kids these days... All they want is fluff and look-at-me status equipment / gear / textures whatever.
    I don't care about black armor. Except that it makes me the coolest kid in skool.

    But seriously why pay extra for such an insignificant thing as black armor? Buy drugs instead.

    Because some of us who have been playing NS1 for several years think the devs deserve it for providing us with a free mod/game to play. Black armor was only part of it. There was also the Alpha, and eternal gratitude. Of course others such as myself, will go the extra yard and even donate 20 bucks for constellation to support the developers. These guys get their funds from pre-orders, not a publisher, keep that in mind.

    Also to the person who quoted me: Regardless, it could be taken literally as well if it were said in a certain tone. Of course, this is just the internet, no need to get mad because I'm making a correction :P

    I was responding to the OP wanting to buy an SE-key for the single purpose of "standing out" from the crowd.

    Someone who bought the original SE has already received the eternal gratitude, and thus the OP won't receive any if he buys one from someone else.
