when controlling skulks and fades, sometimes its quite difficult to keep track of the marine since your face is pretty much directly infront of him or infront of a wall and can be very disorientating. My idea is quitre simple and should help an alien player a little bit more.

Basically when extrmely close to a marine ttheres a new UI overlay that shows an indication as to whcih direction the marine is in, allowing you to keep track of your target better when attempting to bite ihm, i guess tihs could be even given to marines so an alien right on you cricling aronud your feet would show up indications poniting to the direction its in. these simply flash on the edges of the screen similar to a getting hit direction seen in many games.

No thank you, thats like a softcore version of autoaim. And i prefer my games without a tingling spider-sense.

No, no it isn't, it's a simulation of peripheral vision, as most people in the world have peripheral vision I would hardly call it spider sense.

Most games cap their field of view at 90 degrees, in real life you have at least 160 degrees as well as a spatial sense that lets you keep track of your environment.

Relying on crappy limitations of having to play the game through a monitor with only two senses is kinda silly. You should always provide new ways to improve player understanding of what is happening in the game and prevent them getting disoriented.

    Or just add a radar.

that would be very clunky. and inaccurate.
who would look at the radar in a combat situation?
please think those things through before you suggest them, ok?

I am neutral and can't comment on this, as I haven't played the beta.
