<div class="IPBDescription">anywhere on dynamic infestation</div>Traditionally, aliens spawn right around the hive. As a different tactic, alien comms could place some eggs on dynamic infestation anywhere throughout the map. However, the farther away from the hive, the longer it would take for a player in the egg to spawn.
So, the comm would have to play a balancing game. If he builds too many eggs too far from the hive, all of the aliens could take too long to respawn and wouldn't be able to protect the hive.
The specific amount of time it takes is up to balancing. But, I would expect that anything within the hive room would have the standard short delay. Outside of that range, the amount of time could increase linearly or even exponentially based on distance from the hive.

So in short, pilot your own glowie/flying larva (not drifter) to a spawnpoint of your choice during the spawning countdown.

I think this would be pretty awesome, though maybe with a temporary Drifter (those glowies are soooo tiny).
