NS 2 CD/DVD question

hiho,
I have a question to Natural Selection 2. ^^

When the final version is released do i get a CD/DVD with Natural Selection 2? Or is it just downloading (buying a key) Natural Selection 2 from Steam without any CD/DVD?

    It's a digital download through Steam only. You can backup the files (right-click NS2 shortcut) to burn it to a DVD if you need to. I imagine if the game explodes in popularity and gets a lot of sales, they might offer a retail copy down the road but I'd guess it's a definite no at this point in development.

    UWE is a small company, even though it would be a nice collectors item it would simply be too expensive for them to get world wide coverage for a retail distribution. Steam rules for indie devs.
