Yes its from beta 160 and not final or even realy IN the Game...but i thought its kind of interesting.
I change the model to flamethrower, the sound is from rifle (because the minigun model and the sounds are not in the beta...you know why)
What you see is, it has a spinning time of .995, has 250 bullets, a Damage of 25 (rifle has 10 Dmg ).
Thats all, oh wait, not realy... the Minigun cost 30, there is a snippet of this which sounds a bit brutal:
DualMinigunCost = 25
DualMinigunTechResearchCost = 20
So did this mean, they plan dual miniguns?
Sounds like a Massacre.
Information:
I heard something the minigun is "bound" to the exoskeleton which is the heavy armor in ns2?
Edit:
Also found the mobile powernode:

You know, for mobile energy, im very excited to see all this ingame.

Kewl find
nice find!
On a more serious note, really liking that Powernode, but I wonder how it's supposed to be placed? Carried or placed by the Commander?
thought first they were loose regular powernodes carryable by marines, and just inserted into the empty socket.
but this doesn't look very man-portable...is it more like a building? with finite range/power?

MACs perhaps? Although they would probably need to overhaul the model a little in that case so they can actually clamp onto one (they have only one pretty measly claw), but that's probably not going to happen.
Best guess is probably that it's placed by the commander, easiest to implement too.
Or Marines have to carry it all the way. A NS2 companion cube ;)
Dont see a point in making a video of the 'minigun', something should wait for the official reveal :P
