Hey all!

I pre-ordered NS2 a week ago and have been participating in the beta test.

Just wanted to ask on this forum (since no one seems to talk on the NS1 forum?)...
How is the population on NS1 servers?

Is it still active / playable? (Im not talkin 2v2 or 3v3.. I mean full servers).

I would check myself, but I dont have the original half life on this account.. and dont want to buy it
if NS1 is not active anymore..

    It takes an unseemly amount of time to refresh the server list for HL1 mods for some reason; but yes, there are usually a couple of well populated servers.

    their are only hand full of ns1 servers left, which I often play on. BAD is one of the active servers which is always full, and been around for years. They have two servers, one for CO, and other ns- great community and usually lots of fun. Their are few others, but honestly, that is it.

    I just hope someone recreates ns1 through new engine, would be amazing. its like half life source, everything is the same expect the graphics - pretty amazing experience.

    Botservers aren't bad, but they can be a bit misleading.
