    as you said. its energy. Your Commander Station ( chair ? ) is producing energy at a constant rate. I think you cant do anything to get more or less energy. Each Commander Station has its own energy ( correct me if im wrong ).

    Upgrading cc gives it higher max nrg iirc, and possibly faster nrg production (no evidence for that one, just would make sense :P).

    Macs actually costed nrg for quite some time already (same with drifters).

    will it been displayed at the top of the screen anytime? next to plasma and carbon?

    I doubt it will be displayed there, since energy is not a global resource. Every structure that uses energy has its own pool. So it makes sense to display it on the structure.

    CS = 200 max energy
    CF = 250 max energy
    CC = 200 max energy

    Paradoxically, the max energy drops back to 200 for the lvl3 command center. I'm hoping that UWE will actually get rid of energy. It just adds needless complication to the resource system. Things that cost energy (MACs, building abilities) could be a possible candidate for costing plasma/personal resources instead.

    they changed it so it wasn't so easy to spam macs and drifters, but they're still easy to spam.

    Maybe this is fixed in the new build, but in 161 Marines start with 0 MACs and 50 energy. Aliens start with 3 drifters and full energy. Doesn't seem fair. The Marines only get one MAC in the first few minutes, while aliens have tons of drifters. If the MAC is lost, you're SOL.

    I would be happier if they also slapped on a cap on the amount ... say 3 MACs and 5 Drifters.
    MAC stack is a particularily annoying exploit.

    One game , 3 skulks chewing on one SG being repaired by the stack couldnt get the SG down below 50% , eventually the Skulks tried chewing the stack but took so much damage from the gun...

    I mean , you get behind the SG and see 1 MAC coming up, think hah good luck trying to out repair my bite...wtf more like 20 MAC's.

    ... either that or make the bite / swipe / spit / etc etc hit ALL targets on that spot , so if there is 20 MACs on one spot all 20 take the same amount of damage.

    But marines can build their structures without MACs.

    MACs/drifters do more than just build stuff. I love to do early scouting with them. Can't do that with MACs early now and can't repair stuff either. At least start the comchair with 100 energy for 2 MACs.

    should use a marine for that, they respawn.

    That's not the point. The aliens can afford to do that stuff with drifters. Marines cannot. Aliens are arguably even better at scouting than marines, but they get an abundance of drifters too.
