need of a minimap?

<div class="IPBDescription">minimap</div>is it me or a minimap in this game would be really helpful?. for a strategy game or even for a fps its a need to know what your team and the other team is doing. and actually seeing the map. i often get confused as i bet most new players do going trough the vents or trying to get somewhere in the map

    well i feel retarded =D, another problem i found tho is that it seems WAY harder to kill marines, its like the bites just wont register. the range of the bite seems too small

    You could have been playing in a laggy server or you might have been lagging yourself.

    Yeah, I agree about the biting marines thing. Very difficult as Skulk now, not sure about the other classes.

    It would be great to see some sort of 'fish eye' view for the aliens introduced as well. Not only to increase the peripherals (so you know which direction you should be biting in close up) but also so you 'feel' like an alien. Nothing huge, but enough to make me feel like I want human flesh for breakfast.

    im sure i was not lagging. it was all fluid. i just couldn't kill the marine. even the marine was impressed he could survive that long. right now it just feels like ur a dog biting the air. not an alien tearing the flesh out of a human. we need that gorey feeling to it

    Sometimes I have the feeling that as a Skulk I can run through Marines when trying to bite them. Has anybody tested or experienced that too?
    Maybe that's just lag I related but I kinda have the feeling that something is wrong with the player/player collision.

    I feel the same way to be honest. Same with fade swipes. It just seems like hits don't connect in the way that I'm used to in other FPS games.

    I have also tried my best with this 162 and there are good changes across the board, this hit-registration for melee-attacks and rubberbanding is making it near impossible to do much as alien it feels like. Marine side however is pretty darn enjoyable now, nice synergy with the commander and the weaponry is more balanced out and actually hits.
    Hoping for 163 to improve on this, about 1/3 of what makes Natural Selection for me is the Skulk.

    so true. without skulk its just a normal fps
