Great video. Was nice to see everyone and put more names to faces while getting a feel of the fibe in the office (which looks like a fun place too).

Around 3:00 you can see a pretty clear image of the sketches on his desk. Looks a bit like an alien puking something up, but doesn't particularly look like any one alien. Any guesses? :3

It looks like a Gorge, maybe the Onos or Fade (looks more like a Hydralisk to me lol). The weird blob could be DI that Gorge pukes out :P
Indeedy. I run a small business in Perth, Australia. I have a few employee's but the feel of my/our office here doesn't even start to live up to the vibe that UWE has got going on. Inspired a makeover :)

A camera friendly superfan of course will make a better video than the overworked drones :P
I hope after NS2HD leaves they will follow his example (roaming around the office casually and checking in with everyone - 5-10 minute length).
One improvement would be to actually show us something concrete when NS2HD turns up at your desk. Instead of 'this is a page of problem code' why not 'when i fix this such and such will be improved'. Show us concept art or models (even if theyre not new) instead of an unintelligible wireframe model or whatever. Remember that the viewers are customers (and potential customers) so treat it as an opportunity to sell the game to them, while keeping it cool and relaxed.
Meeting the team is fun and all but you wanna take as many chances as you can to show off the game. There are people watching who are really unfamiliar with the game - maybe its the one chance you have to catch their attention, so go for it! For example, I became interested in the Overgrowth game but their forums suck and its really non-newbie friendly - it's sort of assumed that you are up to speed on the whole development process. You can watch videos about their development process with beautiful voice overs and wonderful gameplay and <i>still</i> have no idea what the hell this rabbit fighting game is about! You can order the alpha but they dont say what you get with it. They don't even let you join the forums properly until you pay $30 for the alpha! So I stopped caring about that game and won't look again until its released. Overall UWE do a better job than the Overgrowth team I only want them to do even better :)
(yes I know Overgrowth's team is smaller than UWE, this isn't meant to be a scientific comparison)

Seriously though, I enjoyed the latest video, but it didn't really seem like he gave them much of a chance to talk. "What do you do at UWE and what are you working on?" "Okay, that's great.... NEEEXT!"
Hopefully we'll get a new video that lets them talk a little bit more.
Well if it is a gut response and true... I and many other probably won't mind :P
