I had this problem. Was because of the router i was supplied. Game opens to many connections for the router to handle. Bought a new one and problem solved
You can secure your self from a common method used for spreading viruses via Networked Folders, Drives, UPnP Devices (Any USB device with sotrage including iPods). When you look at a folder or plug in a device, a virus will have setup an hidden Windows Autorun file that your system will exec and in turn exec the virus. So all you have to do to get a virus is look at a folder, you dont even have to open the folder, just highlight it in some cases.
To fix this you can disable the Auto Run Polocies, <a href="http://support.microsoft.com/kb/967715" target="_blank">http://support.microsoft.com/kb/967715</a>
Direct link to run MS AutoFix: <a href="http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9741395" target="_blank">http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9741395</a>
Down side is when you stick a game/film dvd into your CD drive or plug in a USB stick or anything, It wont auto launch or auto open device folder so you will have to navigate manually or setup handy shortcut icons.
Plus side you wont get the virus sat on the device should one exist on it. I have found peoples iPods and external drives contain viruses that infect a PC via this autorun method.
