They talk about dynamic lighting, using middleware in the development of their game engine, and minimum system requirements and hardware trends (multithreading).
Just thought I'd share, I really enjoyed the Witcher and can't wait for the next game.

An occasional engine-rebuild every so often is very important given the continues hardware-evolution. You have a point if the final product doesn't differ a lot from what's already out there engine-wise.
this is rather something you could be ashamed of :P
I'd like to mention 10tacle studios here but they went bankrupt 2 years ago. There are some good german game companies but they don't produce blockbusters. Except the Anno series
