One final shot of the marine spawn, the vent in the bottom of the picture is breakable. (don't worry Nem there will be handrails soon <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> )
This is the pipe hive, there is minimal cover but between the nearby pipe gushing out water and the storm, the aliens can be as loud as they want.
Another angle of the pipe hive, that door in the background that leads off to somewhere I haven't made yet, most likely the third hive. but I you turn left in front of the door instead of going through it you are lead to the double node.
This pic is looking back to the fortress hive. Those pipes that run across the ceiling are hollow and connect up with the fortress hive itself.
If r_speeds permit, try to spice up the bare sections of wall/ceiling with miscellaneous features like pipes and the like. That's my only real criticism.
I'm looking forward to testing this map out.</span>
This map looks great so far, though Im worried about the pipe hive being assaulted and aliens not having a chance to defend...

Yeah, thats looking quite nice. I think the comment about throwing grates/ pipes / darn near anything into the walls to spice them up is a worthy one.

actually the plan <b>is</b> for the pipe hive to be hard to defend, but thats only because I'm making the fortress hive (on the other side of the map) easy to defend
and as for adding pipes and other small details. I'll be adding those after I've finished the layout

that hive also needs more dark sports for aliens to hide in! Looking good otherwise!
