Your most played class/weapon shows up as the character on the right, and the team you spend the most time on determines whether or not the area is infested or if the lights are on.
I'm thinking of something like the halflife2 menu's. Semi-animated images.
examples:
marine base, every 10 seconds a marine spawns from the ip and walks out of screen.
Simple hallway with some infestation, there is a window on the side wich occasionally flashes with muzzleflash from lmg.
The outside view of summit with a lerk flying by.
An alien resource tower with a gorgy walking by.
etc..
Perhaps if there was some random variation, but it showed you stuff you liked more often than stuff you didn't.
