Can I activate the black marine armor?

<div class="IPBDescription">I preorder 2 years ago</div>Hello! I preordered NS2 just over two years ago to get the black armor. But today is the first day Ive actually got around to playing it. I tried searching for this topic, however Im getting an "IPS database error" and cannot search, so sorry if this has come up before.

How do I activate the armor? I have the special order key, but its not a steam key. I have my steam key, have played the game, but dont have the black armor. Where do I use the special key?

You should have two keys, one the first is not for steam and the other is for steam.

If you bought the Overgrowth bundle, you may only have a green armor only though :(

Nah got the original preorder.

I do have two keys, I activated the steam one, but Im not sure what to do with the special preorder key. What do I do with it? Where do I put it?

I thought it might be that, but the key does not work when put into steam.

I checked steams troubleshooting, and it said keys would only be either 13, 20, or 25 characters in length; the special order key is 32 characters.

So confused about what Im supposed to actually do with this key....

Its funny, not even the email with the key in it tells me what to actually do with it.

The Overgrowth bundle only gives you green armor? I never noticed.

As far I know .. black armor was for Special edition in preorder.
(twice expensive than normal edition)

I remember having to put a second key into steam to get alpha access along with black armour.

Ditto, I had two keys as well. Still, great to hear that UWE is still awesome resolving customer issues!
