<div class="IPBDescription">Game Freezes at startup of the game</div>Hello
I am not sure where this should go as I could not find a technical spot in the natural selection 2 part of the forum.
My problem is that I bought the game and downloaded it late one night and entered the game just to see how it looked before I had to head to bed.
The next day I wanted to play the game but for some reason now the game freezes just after the startup screen comes up.
I can see

and I can hear the natural selection music in the background, but after that all freezes.
this looks like I am missing something but I have re-downloaded the game, deleted the ClientRegistry.blob from the Steam folder and made it down load it again so I don’t know what to do next.
This is so strange because I was able to play the game once.

if anyone has had this problem and found a fix it would be appreciated.
I have also updated my drivers and windows and the like.

It also comes down to your PC specification, mind sharing a DXdiag or just post some specs :)

a dxdiag would be nice indeed, since you say you played it before it can also be the server you tried to join.
have you tried multiple servers? or hosting your own listen server just to see if it works?

It seems to do this for me whenever I update the game. CTRL + ALT + DEL, kill Process, retry, works like a charm. For me.
