<div class="IPBDescription">Sorry, search not working.</div>Has there been any discussion or official news about the onos? Just curious about how soon it's coming out, and what it'll be like.
It's too bad really, since marines kind of have the edge in a siege if you get a com that loves tons of macs and turrets right now. Not too long ago I had probably the most agonizing game I've played yet. Just endless turrets and those bugged speedy MACs making it all the harder to keep any meaningful damage to anything if their com is paying attention, Can't wait to have something that can wade into multiple turret fire for more than a few seconds.
I feel like James Cameron established a law that states: if humans and aliens are ever engaged in galactic combat, the humans MUST have an exoskeleton to achieve victory.
I'm very excited for the rest of the game to be playable!!

It was actually Robert Heinlein, which pretty much spawned a whole galaxy of heavy power armoured infantry. A fact of which I am very glad, power armour is sexy.
The onos needs to come in, nothing quite added to the atmosphere of NS for me than the sound of a onos coming around the corner and as a marine you were just like "stuff this I am outta here!"
Check the NS2 wiki for info on all that stuff, and on youtube you will find a trailer showing an Onos cinematic, and the real in game Onos model running about.
