As for the Mind Flayer thing, my imaginative universe takes place in the future. In a wicker basket, the humans of Earth send out these huge ships with cryo trays to find a hospitable planet. Earth is becoming overcrowded. The most important ones are these: Faithful, Daring, Columbus, Victory, and Deko. The first two come upon a planet, call themselves Dromian Confederates, yadda yadda. Second two come upon another, call themselves Draconran, you know. Deko is lost, but later found on another planet (which happens to be inhabited by the Gen Mo'Kai. Yes, I like those guys from UT2k3). Stuff happens, yadda yadda. Oh yeah, and there's another planet, Feuda, some place (I don't feel like explaining the whole story), and they find Lizardmen there, as well as humans. As for Draconra and Droma, they have many of the fantastic creatures we know in D&D, LotR, and other fantasies, such as Dragons, Mind Flayers, and stuff like that. On all four of those aforementioned planets. A bunch of stuff goes on, yeah and stuff. So around 1400, the Dromians stumble upon the Leiran's galactic territory (they didn't know about Leirans anyway), and a huge war starts.
That's it in a nutshell. And if you understood a single thing I said there, tell me.
I would make it into a game if I had the tools and stuff (several games, actually. There's so much in the universe that you can only fit so much in a game. Many different characters), and also, it has Gen Mo'Kai, which are in UT2k3, so I can kind of forget that....
...Unless I rename them and change the look somewhat... but I can't really, they're so cool. And forget about throwing them out, they're pretty big in the story.
