We need to spread the word about NS2 here though, there's not many that know about the game.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Quite a few people I know want to play NS2, but they refuse to play it because of the state the game is in right now. When more optimization patches are implemented, the more people will start playing. Even some times I get kind of frustrated, because I am running a beast of a computer and percise aiming has always been a favour of mine. So when I get extremely low fps and the game doesn't "feel" right, I start to withdrawl from the game because it holds me back from how I want to play the game.
Coming from games like CS, BC2, Quake, Unreal Tournament, it's really hard to just jump in to NS2 and have a lot of fun, even though it has it's moment of good times when the teams are balanced and not stacked full of vets against a bunch of newbies that just started the game.

All I was getting at is that there's not a lot of Canadians that know about NS2... think about it, if you created this very thread in a forum about some other game (like the ones you mentioned) you'd instantly have 100 posts or so.
Anyways I just hope that more Canadians do eventually play when the game is finished.
Hey fellas, from Ottawa, I have a few friends who I got to buy NS2. They just want a finished product, but I've been following the development of this game very closely since the beginning. Canadian clan/team would be awesome.
If any of you want to lan let me know, there are a few of us from Toronto that play and I'm sure it would be so much fun! *wonders if ns2 is even on lan comps*

Also from the Toronto area, Vaughan to be exact. There's quite a few of us NS2 players in Toronto that are just waiting for a feature complete/playable version of the game before we get into it again

My entire NS1 guild (10+ players) is from the GTA. Back then there was a solid gaming community in Toronto with the boom of LAN cafes in the downtown core. Man... thinking back to my high school years... those were some good times lol.
Yep, also from the GTA (Etobicoke if you wanna get technical). You're pretty right about the net cafe explosion, Dank. I use to play the original NS at a net cafe just a few blocks away from my home.
