Steam server browser

I haven't been able to find if this question has been asked, Is it possible to implement ns2 with the steam server browser in the later stages, I'm one of those games that likes to be able to check if there is servers with people on them before loading the game.

I have noticed other games eg Americas Army 3 is using the steam browser and that is using the unreal engine. If its to complicated don't worry, just thought it would be nice

    You mean the desktop server-browser? Or actually an ingame-version of it, because the latter might not be as obvious, as NS2 does not make use of Steam's VGUI-system. I'm guessing someone will do a more proper version of the ingame server-list (check out fsfod's non-flash menu mod, it goes a long way already), and when NS2 releases on Steam officially I'm assuming it will be added to the filter-dropdownbox of the server-browser.

    Yeah the desktop server browser, im not worried about the ingame one cause i know they will tweek it before they release the game, just hoping it gets added to the desktop one
