I hope so as things should get a lot more interesting when there's more players and a bigger map/mod community working on stuff, the game has a lot of potential.

Good thing there's 12 months in a year. You heard it here first, Cory confirmed a "Sometime 2012 release". It's as accurate as Fall 2009 and we can look forward to it!
I'm guessing some time around October. Certainly hope they avoid December for the inevitable 12.12.12 release rush that will overshadow anything without massive marketing. If it's not out by October, I'd rather have an early 2013 release, avoiding release dates of market-hyped titles.
12.12.12 but i guess it wouldnt be a good idea(since a big publisher will release something that day, i bet!) - so ill will just say around halloween! (+-14days)
Just avoid Aliens: Colonial Marines, Doom4, Farcry 3, Guild Wars 2, Diablo 3, WoW Addon, Sc2 HoS Addon?, Borderlands 2, CS:Go, Bioshock Infinite, GTA5, yet another crappy CoD...
PS: i cant think of a single good multiplayer fps that will/could come out this year... (maybe planetside 2? - ok CS:Go could be interesting for some... )
late april - may, the game was in development already too long, they gotta give it to people and start earning dollars, those preorders money wont last forever.

I guess you mean DNF since DN(91) came out before DN3D(96) and wasn't a fps... (the hidden message, at least how i understood it - tf2 and dnf were considered vaporware but somehow both made it to a release with lots of delay)

Pretty much ;) time scale had nothing to do with comparison.

I'm going to like this year.

They do. :)
Delay it, Half Life style, and release it November :P
