Text boxes are white

Hello all! I just recently started to try NS2 but whenever i join a game, my texts are either white or extremely blurry. My guns don't come up in my screen as if it looks like im holding an invisible gun. Someone told me its a vid card issue setting that i need to change, but he doesn't know the specifics. Would like some help thanks!

    and also my score textbooks are all white/blurry as well. i have a nvidia gtx 260 vid card if that helps. thanks

    sounds like he's out of VideoMem, try a lower graphics setting, a 512Mb would have trouble with High, but works perfectly on Medium (depending on other factors as well of course). But that is the probably cause of this issue :)

    GTX 260 is kind of at the low end of NS2's range. Have you had this problem every single time you've launched NS2?

    Consider verifying your game cache or reinstalling; if some of your files were corrupted or downloaded incorrectly, it could cause problems like these.

    it works fine in an empty server, but once its filled, it starts having that problem
